Sales Manager, Consumables into Food Industry, upto £40,000 Basic Salary + Car Allowance + Bonuses + Share Options. Career role with share options for a distributor of specialist lubricants that has recently won an exclusive UK-wide distribution deal for the highest quality food grade lubricants into the food processing industry. This is a business development role with share options as part of the package and the products have been aggressively priced to ensure a significant UK market share can be quickly attained. Based upon your success it is planned that your role has the potential to develop into a Sales Management role and you will be tasked in developing a nationwide regional sales team.

TO APPLY YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE SELLING INTO UK FOOD AND DRINK PROCESS AND MANUFACTURING WITH EXPERIENCE OF SELLING INTO THE ENGINEERING SIDE OF FOOD MANUFACTURING.

Initially covering the East Midlands and East Anglia up into Humberside the role will be targeting the food industry and requires a strategic yet determined business development approach. Having already won exclusive deals for long-term supply with major bakers, confectionary and soft drink clients you will have excellent case studies and referral points to leverage from.

As a person you will be likeable, persuasive and have a solid reputation and preferably contacts within the food industry - particularly within brewing, canning and bakeries which are deemed to be sectors of great opportunity. As the exclusive provider you will have control over pricing and no other supplier in the UK is able to provide product of as high a quality (and the company have greater quality certifications over the products that any other supplier). As a consequence you will be targeted to achieve significant market share within the first two years and the rewards, including equity in the business, will be significant.
