Setting goals can help improve time employment in sales jobs

People working in sales jobs should become more efficient and organised if they want to improve their happiness, according to an industry expert.

Julie Cummings, director of human resources for BKD, LLD in Springfield, told News-Leader.com that people who have been successful in sales recruitment should think about which ways their time is wasted and what they can do about it.

"If you find something that is bogging you down or a task that could be eliminated, talk to your manager. The more organised you are, the less stressed you're likely to be," she added.

Sheri Phillips, director of career development at Evengel University, told people in sales jobs that they should look at what their strengths and passions are so that they can build on them.

She stated that everyone has something individual to contribute to the workplace and by looking at skills and how they apply to the role will help people find ways to increase the amount of work that they love to do.

The Olympian newspaper reported that, during the recession, workers found a new love and happiness in their jobs, whether they were really satisfied or not.
